Interviews of the top listed candidates of the Research Grants 2006/2007 program
Alexandria--For a period of 3 consecutive days, starting Wednesday, 1 August 2007, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) featured the interviewing of the top listed candidates of the Research Grants 2006/2007 program whose names were announced a few weeks earlier.

The Evaluation Committee consisted of Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director, Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) and Professor, Electrical Engineering, AAST; Dr. Magdy Madkour, Special Advisor, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Professor, Agricultural Sciences; Dr. Salah Soliman, Special Advisor, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Professor, Agricultural Sciences; and Dr. Yehia Halim Zaki, Head, Academic and Cultural Sector, Bibliotheca Alexandrina and Professor, Medical Sciences.

Candidates were requested to introduce their projects, point out its aims and objectives, state the proposed time plan and include an estimated budget of their project.

Fields of the presented projects included Agricultural Sciences, Biochemistry and Biophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Engineering Sciences & Technologies and Physics and Astronomy.

Following discussions among the Evaluation Committee members, results of the winners will be announced and the candidates will be notified.
