Expert Review Workshop on the Water For a Growing Planet report
The Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) organized the Expert Review Workshop on the Water For a Growing Planet on the 29th of July 2008.

A committee comprising of eight experts in the water field attended the workshop, where they exchanged ideas and thoughts on what should be done to avoid future water crisis, by pulling out concrete actions in different fields and maintaining sustainability.

At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Ismail Serageldin, Director, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, gave a presentation entitled "Avoiding Water Wars" to the workshop members, in which he manifested the critical global water status.

Following his presentation, Dr. Serageldin and the Experts discussed several points on the water use, the critical Food-Feed Fuel situation, the impact of agriculture and climate change.

The Water For a Growing Planet report is currently being finalized according to the Experts advise and will be then sent for action.
