The CSSP celebrates its 6th Birthday
In July 2009, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) celebrated its 6th birthday in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

A gathering was organized after working hours at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina's restaurant, aiming at bringing together all the former and current CSSP members together for a "Get Together Lunch".

The 39 ex-CSSP members were invited to the event, however, due to previous commitments of the members, 16 only managed to attend, in addition to the current 20 CSSP members.

Dr. Yehia Halim Zaky, Head of the Academic and Cultural Sector, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Dr. Asser Zaki and Dr. Salah Soliman - members of the Board of Directors of the Center - have also joined this gathering.

The get-together was inaugurated by a welcome speech by Dr. Mohamed El-Faham, Director of the CSSP, followed by brief statements from each ex-member sharing their experience within the CSSP, their current positions and the achievements they have accomplished since they left the CSSP.

It is worth mentioning that the CSSP was officially inaugurated in July 2003 and has, ever since, showed quality in its work, in addition to innovation when choosing their activities.

The CSSP continues to demonstrate excellence and intellectual rigor implemented in a spirit of professionalism and cost-effective position.
