On the occasion of paper-making day, the Manuscripts Museum in collaboration with the Children’s Library, is organizing a workshop titled “A Paper World” for 6–9 year old children.

The workshop will shed light on a variety of topics, including writing tools used by ancient Egyptians, papyrus, the history of paper-making, handmade paper, how the Arabs manufactured paper, machine made paper, the role of paper in the dissemination of science, and paper recycling. At the end of the workshop, the participating children will create a papyrus by hand.
