The BA Center for Islamic Civilization Studies organizes a lecture entitled “Encyclopedia of the Islamic Orient – A Scientific and Cognitive Achievement in Islamic History and Civilization”, delivered by Prof. Abdul-Hamid Hammouda, Professor of Islamic History and Civilization, and former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Fayoum University. It is held on Monday, 19 June 2023, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, in the BACC Delegates Hall.

The Encyclopedia of the Islamic Orient is written by Prof. Abdul-Hamid Hammouda, and consists of ten parts tackling the research and analysis of the historical development of the Islamic Orient countries since their establishment, as well as their relationship with the Abbasid Caliphate from the beginning of the third century AH until the advent of the Mongol invasion of the Islamic world. The Encyclopedia covers the history of those countries both politically and culturally.
