The BA Participates in the Cairo International Book Fair

Alexandria—the BA participates this year in the 39th Cairo International Book Fair with a distinguished collection of the library's latest publications. The BA display pavilion will present the latest books, CDs, publications, documentaries on the library's origin and revival, and presentations on the different departments and specialized centers of the library and their achievements.
The BA presents the digitized copy of Description de l'Egypte, the most valuable detailed book describing Egypt from all aspects. The book is the outcome of the work of 150 scholars and more than 2000 specialists, who accompanied Napoleon in his journey to Egypt 1798: 1801.
The sales pavilion is well equipped with the best presentation devices to allow the public to view the latest publications of the library, such as the Arabic translation of Lost Languages, by Andrew Robenson. The complete digital copy of Al-Helal magazine on CDs is also presented in this pavilion. Each CD contains ten year issues, with search engines for different articles using title, subject, or writer. The BA presents Al-Abgadiat journal issued yearly by the BA Calligraphy Center concerned with the origin of writing and its development throughout ages.
