Workshop: “Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Profit”

The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program is organizing a workshop titled “Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Profit.” The workshop aims to support and promote financial literacy among women and empower them to manage their resources consciously and effectively. It will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, 21 – 23 April at the Auditorium Hall in the Library’s main building.
The workshop will address a number of key topics, including the behavioral basis of money management, stages of financial maturity, and the psychology of money. It will cover sound financial concepts such as assets and liabilities, building a professional budget, managing debt, and enhancing financial flexibility.
The workshop will also discuss the concept of the time value of money, analyze the difference between installment payments and cash payments, and introduce fixed-income instruments and the principles of investment thinking through a simplified simulation of an investment session and some practical exercises. It will be delivered by certified trainer Ms. Minas Ahmed Sadek, who has extensive experience in training and capacity building for young leaders and women.
