MoU between the BA and the National Center for Social and Criminological Research

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research, have signed a memorandum of understanding for scientific and research cooperation between the two institutions.
Dr. Zayed said that the memorandum will generate significant activities with regard to social scientific research, and will raise awareness of important topics such as women’s issues, sustainability, strategic studies, and political cases.
For her part, Dr. Hala Ramadan pointed out that the National Center for Social and Criminological Research is a long-standing institution renowned for its contributions to the field of social scientific research and concrete field studies that address all the challenges facing Egyptian society.
She expressed her hope that this collaboration between the Library and the Center would result in fruitful and effective activities in scientific and research fields of mutual interest.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Zayed gifted Dr. Ramadan a copy of The Photographic Memory of Alexandria. The Center also presented the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with a number of its publications.
