The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in collaboration with the Saudi Literature Association, is organizing the first Egyptian-Saudi Literature Forum on 15 and 16 June 2026, as part of the Library’s efforts to promote cultural and literary exchange between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to provide a space for dialogue on issues of literature and creativity in both countries. The forum will be inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qahtani, representative of the Saudi Literature Association.

A select host of writers, critics, and linguists are set to take part in the event.
