A Cooperation Protocol between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the BA

Mr. Gohar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports; Eng. Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria; and Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, have attended today the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in the presence of senior representatives from the Ministry, the Governorate, and the Library. This initiative is aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties to support cultural, educational, and outreach programs targeting young people.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the Library’s Academic Research Sector, and Dr. Amr El-Haddad, Head of the Ministry’s Youth Sector.
The protocol aims to expand areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina through joint programs and activities that promote cultural and intellectual awareness among young people, while leveraging the scientific and cultural resources available at the Library.
Following the signing ceremony, the Minister of Youth and Sports and the Governor of Alexandria took a tour of the Library, during which they were introduced to its key departments and collections and learned about its role in disseminating knowledge, supporting scientific research, and promoting cultural and intellectual dialogue.
