Dr. Moustafa Elfeki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Dr. Mohamed El-Qosi, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, signed a cooperation agreement to establish the Museum of Astronomy and Space Technology, at the Agency headquarters in New Cairo City.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian Space Agency approached the BA with a request for conducting a field research, and submitted a proposal to establish the Museum of Astronomy and Space Technology, as part of the Agency’s efforts to achieve its goals through identifying the scientific, technological, research, manufacturing, and human capacities in the field of space science and technology nationwide.

Accordingly, the BA, through the Planetarium Science Center, is collaborating with the Egyptian Space Agency to set up the Museum of Astronomy and Space Technology, which will include a number of interactive digital shows displayed at one of the Agency halls, featuring the main scientific themes expected to be covered by the Museum.
