“Environment Day” Celebration at the BA

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with Hanns Seidel Foundation, organized the “Environment Day” celebration for the fourteenth consecutive year, on Tuesday, 2 November 2021.
The celebration comprised several workshops, interactive activities, scientific lectures and shows, in addition to the external events of “Park Rangers” campaign, which takes place in different Egyptian governorates.
The event aimed at highlighting the most important environmental issues, with the participation of a group of school and university students, community-based initiatives, and civil society institutions. It also included an interactive workshop led by the BA Planetarium Science Center, which presented a simulation of how to deal with the influence of human beings on the environment, and how to protect it using sustainable methods.
