Zayed Inaugurates “Ibero-America” Photo Exhibition at the BA

Accompanied by ambassadors and representatives of 16 Ibero-American countries, Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, inaugurated a photo exhibition on “Ibero-American Festivities”, which runs from 16 – 20 October 2022, in the BACC East Exhibition Hall.

As part of the Ibero-American cultural week, the second Ibero-American Film Week will be held from 17 – 27 October, at the Jesuit Cultural Center. Countries taking part in this year’s round include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

For the second consecutive year, 16 Ibero-American countries are presenting a cultural activities program in Alexandria from 16 – 27 October, which includes visual arts, academic meetings with the staff and students of Pharos University, as well as a visit to an exhibition on the Spanish poet Jaime Gil de Biedma at Instituto Cervantes.
