The BA Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the Arab Council for Childhood and Development

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), signed a memorandum of understanding between the two parties.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Hassan El-Bilawi, Secretary General of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, Mr. Mazyad Al-Huwaishan, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Alexandria, along with members of the delegation of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, and professors from Alexandria University.

Dr. Ahmed Zayed said that the BA is honored to receive Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on this historic day, stressing that the relationship between Egypt and Saudi Arabia has been strategic, historical and solid ever since the establishment of the Saudi Kingdom.

In his speech, Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal said that he was pleased to be at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina to celebrate the strong ties between the BA and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, manifested through this joint cooperation protocol.

He also praised the scientific and cultural efforts he witnessed during his tour of the BA and its sections, specialized libraries, exhibitions, museums and research centers, and commended the various activities it offers in the fields of science, literature and arts.
