A Cooperation Agreement to Establish a BA Embassy of Knowledge at New Mansoura University

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Prof. Moawad El-Khouly, President of New Mansoura University, signed this morning a cooperation agreement to establish an Embassy of Knowledge affiliated to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina at New Mansoura University.
Dr. Ahmed Zayed pointed out that this is the 26th Embassy of Knowledge to be established by the BA, as the knowledge embassies grew to include private and national, non-profit universities.
He explained that the Embassies of Knowledge provide a vast number of audio and visual resources in digital format of the information available at the BA, as well as databases of applied and theoretical scientific research obtained by the Library. Mainly aimed at young people, the Embassies of Knowledge give access to a large number of live lectures, seminars and workshops broadcast through the Library.
For his part, Dr. Moawad El-Khouly expressed his delight at being at the Library and concluding this agreement between the two entities, stressing that the New Mansoura University provides solid knowledge resources for students using the latest technological methods.
