A Cooperation Agreement to Establish a BA Embassy of Knowledge at Sadat City University

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Prof. Shaden Muawia Mahmoud, Acting President of University of Sadat City, signed this morning a cooperation agreement to establish a BA Embassy of Knowledge at the University.
Dr. Zayed was pleased to sign this protocol with the University of Sadat City, as it is one of the most distinguished universities in Egypt, stating that this is the 28th Embassy of Knowledge to be established by the BA.
He also expressed his desire to spread the idea of the Embassies of Knowledge in other places within Egypt, in order to reach a wide audience of those interested in culture, such as cultural and artistic institutions, culture palaces, the Academy of Arts and the Supreme Council of Culture.
For her part, Dr. Shaden Muawia Mahmoud said that she was pleased to be at the BA, and praised the Library for adopting the idea of the Embassies of Knowledge, as it transcends the geographical dimension of being in Alexandria to reach the largest possible number of users and be rightfully a beacon of culture and science for all Egyptians.
