Ninth Coptic Heritage Day: “The Impact of Western Culture on the Dissemination of Coptic Heritage”

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA, inaugurated this morning the ninth "Coptic Heritage Day" ceremony, organized by the BA Center for Coptic Studies, in collaboration with the Children’s Civilization and Creativity Center. The celebration, held this year under the title: “The Impact of Western Culture on the Dissemination of Coptic Heritage”, witnessed the participation of Dr. Nabil Helmy, Chairman of the Heliopolis Association, and Dr. Marwa Elwakil, Head of the BA Academic Research Sector.

The event features an exhibition on "Coptic Icons", a screening of an Egyptian-European documentary film on the discipleship of delivering Coptic melodies entitled "School of Memory”, and a choir performance at the Church of the Holy Family in Zeitoun. The closing session will witness the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants.
