“AI-Assisted Teacher” Workshop at the BA

The BA Technical Skills Unit, in collaboration with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, is organizing the second part of the workshop series “Double Your Productivity with AI,” which will be held under the title “The AI-Assisted Teacher,” on Wednesday, 25 March, at 4:00 pm, in the Multipurpose Hall of the BA Conference Center.

The workshop will be delivered by Prof. Essam Khedr, Professor of Wireless Communications and Intelligent Systems at the Faculty of Engineering; and Dr. Nada Hany Hassan Sherif, Head of the Software Engineering Department at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

The workshop will address a number of key topics, foremost among which is the role of AI in enhancing educational performance by integrating its tools and technologies into different stages of the educational process and academic study, as well as empowering professors and researchers to use smart productivity tools. It will also highlight how modern technologies can be utilized to develop innovative curricula, organize schedules, and design flexible and adaptive assessment methods, ensuring an advanced educational experience that combines efficiency with intellectual innovation, and contributes to maximizing benefits for students and academics while saving time and effort.

This event is part of a joint collaboration between the BA and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport for the fourth consecutive year. It is a continuation of the efforts to disseminate knowledge and keep pace with rapid technological developments.

The 2026 season features more than 35 diverse topics under the theme “AI for All,” with the aim of raising awareness of modern technologies and empowering participants to utilize AI tools in various fields, including productivity, scientific research, library science, business development, and building smarter communities.

The workshop is open to students (from fourth grade through graduates of different disciplines), as well as teachers and faculty members.
