The BA Children and Young People’s Libraries, in collaboration with the Children’s Culture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and UNICEF, organized an interactive session titled “A Fun Journey in a Safe Online Environment,” as part of the Library’s efforts to promote digital awareness and the safe use of the Internet and artificial intelligence.
The session discussed the relationship between children and youth and the digital world, including the smart and fast tools it offers for learning and communication, as well as the harms and risks it poses. It also explored artificial intelligence technologies, raising questions about their impact on children and young people’s lives, the limitations of their use, and how to harness them.
