The Egyptian Archaeological Map is a scientific project aiming to employ information technology to create a powerful tool to fully document and manage the ancient Egyptian heritage sites that spread all over the country. The multimedia technologies have been used along with the GIS to document the archeological and geographical details of each monument.

The project covers 1180 sites in 27 governorates.

The project won the Arab Council of Arab Archaeologists Award for the year 2023, in the section on the use of information technology in documenting heritage and antiquities in the Arab world. The award was by presented by Sheikha Alyazia bint Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
