The course will tackle Plato and the Academy, as well as his commentators who belong to the Neo-Platonism movement. The course will also tackle Aristotle and the Lyceum in detail, including the works of Galinus, Alexander Aphrodisius, Simplicius, until Yahia el Nahawi.
