Teaching Professor: Prof. Fadia Abou Bakr Course Description: HS016 Greek History. This course is an introduction to the world of Ancient Greece before the Hellenistic Period. It is to provide the student with a basic knowledge about the beginning and the development of the Ancient Greeks, their history and their contribution to the universal history then and throughout time. This course will prepare students for a further stage of Greek history abroad the Greek’s homeland and in the Orient, the start of the “Hellenistic Age”.
