The BA Antiquities Museum, affiliated to the Cultural Outreach Sector, organizes a lecture titled "History of Sports Medicine" on Tuesday, 10 September 2019, at 1:00 pm in the BACC Third Floor Floating Room (F3).
Dr. Mostafa Elmoniry, Sports Medicine Consultant, will deliver the lecture, which will deal with the origins of sports medicine in ancient times as ancient Egyptians were the first to practice medicine and sports, evidenced by their inscriptions on the ceilings of temples and tombs, as well as papyri records of their medical practices.
