The BA Library Sector, in collaboration with UNESCO, organizes a regional workshop on building capacity in the field of preserving world documentary heritage. It takes place from 30 July to 1 August 2019, and will be attended by a host of prominent international figures in the heritage domain.
The workshop invites a group of experts from Egypt and several Arab countries to activate the role of the national committees of UNESCO’s “Memory of the World” program, which was established in 1992 to ensure the preservation and accessibility of world documentary heritage (printed and digital).
