This lecture will discuss the castle’s position as the state’s headquarters during Al-Mamalik al-Bahariyya Period. The castle was the center of attention of the many sultans and kings who ruled at the time.

The lecture will be given by Dr. Mohamed Hamdy Metwalli, a researcher of Islamic Antiquities at the Public Administration of Research and Archaeological Studies and Scientific Publishing.
