International Librarianship Training Program - Cataloging and Indexing Periodicals Course

The course covers the technical preparation of these types of resources using machine readable cataloging through the rules of MARC 21. The course also covers different types of periodicals, how to differentiate between them and other sources of information, and how to create bibliographic records and collection records.
