The BA Antiquities Museum organizes a lecture entitled “Sports in Ancient Egypt” on Monday, 11 February 2019 at 1.00 PM at BACC Meeting Room C. The Lecture is delivered by Dr. Mosaad Sayed Ewies, Professor Emiratus at the Faculty of Physical Education, Helwan University. The lecture debates that sports is an activity practiced by individuals since the dawn of history, and that ancient Egyptians pioneered several sports, as evident in the inscription on the walls of tombs in the Beni Hassan Cemetery.
