The event aims to promote the participation and integration of students with hearing impairment in the university community and the Egyptian society. Moreover, the event seeks to highlight the talents and achievements of students with hearing difficulties. Furthermore, this event aims to document and recognize the efforts made by the embassies of knowledge in integrating and including people with hearing impairment in Egyptian universities. This is achieved through a series of workshops in sign language for non-disabled students. This aims to encourage active and effective communication between students with hearing impairment and their peers. The event also aims to foster the concepts of tolerance and acceptance among youth and increase self-confidence and self-esteem among students with hearing impairment. All the mentioned goals are serving the BA main goal as being a center for learning, tolerance, dialogue and understanding between people. The event includes a brief presentation about the workshops organized at the different EOKs in March and April, and a discussion highlighting the importance of including students with hearing impairment in Egyptian universities.
