The BA Children’s Library Celebrates the End of its Summer Activities

Alexandria— The BA Children’s Library is holding a celebration on the occasion of the end of its summer activities for the year 2008, on Monday 25 August 2008. The children will be awarded certificates and prizes.

It is worth mentioning that the BA Children’s Library has witnessed a significant development since its inauguration, with a considerable increase in its area to keep up with the increase in the number of users.

The Children’s Library aims to achieve several objectives, including: integrating additional sources into school curricula; developing children’s reading and research skills through various Library activities; preparing a generation capable of meeting challenges of the digital age; opening a window for children on the history, culture and heritage of Egypt; promoting children’s artistic and creative abilities; opening a window for children on culture, international folklore and children's literature; and fulfilling the needs of disabled and visually impaired children.

The celebration will start at 18:00 hrs, at the BA Conference Center Great Hall.
