A Special Episode on the Art of Islamic Architecture in Cairo Salon

Alexandria— “Cairo Salon” TV Show will devote two episodes on Islamic architecture. The first part will be aired on Channel One Friday, 9 October 2009, at 8:00 pm.
Dr. Serageldin will host Dr. Mohamed Hamza, Professor of Islamic Architecture, Faculty of Antiquities, Cairo University; and Dr. Mohamed Hossam El-Din, Assistant Professor, Department of Antiquities, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University.
The episode will tackle the main characteristics of architecture and Islamic arts, as well as the oriental nature of Islamic buildings.
