The BA Announces the “Arabic Poetry Research Grant” Competition

As part of its continuous efforts to promote cultural cooperation between different countries, and its interest in the preservation of cultural identity, heritage, art, literature, books, publishing, etc., the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is honored to announce the “Arabic Poetry Research Grant” competition, which was launched by the Saudi Ministry of Culture. The competition targets researchers and specialists in the various fields of Arabic poetry from the Saudi Kingdom and abroad.
This grant aims to achieve the objectives of the Year of Arabic Poetry 2023, through:
- strengthening the position of Arabic poetry among individuals.
- enriching advanced and sustainable poetic creativity.
- highlighting the poetic cultural component and its roots in the history of the Arabian Peninsula.
