"Decorative Design in Islamic Arts" Workshop at the BA

The BA Center for Islamic Civilization Studies and the BA Children’s Library are organizing a workshop entitled “Decorative Design in Islamic Arts”, from Wednesday to Sunday, 2 – 13 August, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at the Children’s Library.
The workshop will be presented by Dr. Hebatallah Hegazy, Publications Design Officer at the Center for Islamic Civilization Studies.
The workshop aims to teach children how to draw geometric, botanical and animal decorative shapes in Islamic arts, together with the methods of designing and shaping decorative elements on raw materials used in Islamic arts.
