The BA Children and Young People’s Libraries, in collaboration with the Institut Mondial d'Art de la Jeunesse (IMAJ) – UNESCO Center, and the Intellectual and Environmental Development Association, held the closing ceremony for “Our Future in Memory” initiative, in which 50 students participated.
As an international artistic and educational project, the initiative aimed to combine artistic creativity with cultural awareness among children and young people. Its closing ceremony served as a genuine platform to demonstrate the ability of children and young people to forge a conscious artistic identity that connects memory—as deep-rooted heritage—with the future—as a promising aspiration.
The initiative featured five specialized workshops exploring the power of heritage and creative expression.
The ceremony’s program included an art exhibition showcasing paintings and handmade works created by the students, which reflected their artistic vision of integrating the concepts of memory and the future. It concluded with an award ceremony during which certificates were distributed to participants, trainers, and volunteers in recognition of their efforts and excellence throughout the initiative.
This celebration is part of the BA’s active and pioneering role in serving all segments of society, as it pays special attention to children and young people through the multiple and varied events and activities it continuously offers.
