The BA Planetarium Science Center has achieved a major milestone: its delegation took part in Regeneron ISEF 2026 and won several awards at the competition, which is the largest international scientific research competition for pre-university students. The competition took place in Arizona, USA, from 9 to 15 May 2026, with the participation of hundreds of students from around the world.
The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair is the largest international fair and competition for high school students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), with nearly 2,000 students from around the world participating annually to compete for its awards.
It is worth noting that the winning students qualified to take part in this major event after winning the BA Science and Engineering Fair, which was organized by the Planetarium Science Center last February. The event was attended by 215 students from various Egyptian governorates, who presented 134 projects under the supervision of 80 specialists and with the participation of a 70-member judging panel. This achievement reflects the BA’s role in supporting and nurturing young scientific talent and preparing them to compete in major international forums, as well as highlighting the excellence of Egyptian students in scientific research and innovation.
