The BA Signs a Cooperation Protocol with Hayah Karima Foundation

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat and Executive Director of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, have signed a cooperation protocol between the Library and Hayah Karima Foundation.
The protocol was signed by Dr. Marwa El-Wakil, Head of the BA Academic Research Sector, and Dr. Bothayna Mostafa, Acting Chair of the Board of Trustees of Haya Karima Foundation and member of the Egyptian and African Parliaments.
The collaboration aims to build the capacities of youth and researchers and serve their needs through joint activities, events, and programs organized by both parties to empower youth, adolescents, children, and women, and to address social, environmental, development, and economic empowerment issues.
The protocol was signed on the sidelines of an event organized by the BA under the title “Youth and Development in Egypt: Integrated Partnerships and Hopes Fulfilled,” in celebration of International Youth Day 2026.
