Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture Prof. Abdel Aziz Konsowa has said that Egyptian national identity has deep roots and is characterized by its ability to consciously open up to the world and adapt to its developments. He stated that the quality of education, international competition, economic productivity, hard work, and support for Egyptians abroad represent a true and practical manifestation of the concept of national belonging and the fundamental pillars for the preservation of identity.

These remarks were made during the third session, titled “Institutions and Policies Shaping Identity,” organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as part of the third and final day of the conference “National Identity: Deep Roots and a Renewed Vision,” held at the Library’s Conference Center. The session was led by BA Director Prof. Ahmed Abdullah Zayed, and held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
