In cooperation with the BA ICT Sector, and under the aegis of ICOM, the Egyptian national committee for museums is organizing a practical course on virtual museums for the staff and students of Fayoum University. This course, which will be held at Fayoum University for the first time, aims to transmit and communicate the technology of virtual museums to architecture, information technology, civil engineering, archaeology, history, fine arts, and tourism students. Such technologies are currently used at the most renowned museums around the world, and they greatly contribute to documenting displayed items and promoting museums.
