The BA Taha Hussein Library, in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation, organizes training courses for the blind and visually impaired, to prepare them for the job market. Held for the second consecutive year, these activities come as part of the BA efforts to provide its services to different segments of society in general, and to people with disabilities in particular.

Over the course of nine months, these courses aim to train young people on the use of computers and desktop applications, through the seven main modules of the European Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) and its accredited certificate.

The courses will enable participants to gain numerous work skills, such as communications skills, time management, positive thinking, work under pressure, teamwork skills, etc. Trainees will also obtain training on the best way to use the white cane as a tool of mobility, in addition to walking up and down the stairs, and in transportation.
