The BA Organizes a Conference on Coexistence, Tolerance and Acceptance of the Other
The BA Center for Coptic Studies organizes a conference entitled “Coexistence, Tolerance and Acceptance of the Other: Towards a Better Future”, from 22 – 24 November 2022, at the BA Conference Center.
The conference will be attended by Christian and Islamic religious leaders and intellectuals from Egypt and the Arab world. It will introduce more than 130 research papers presented by a group of researchers from 14 different countries.
The conference stems from the importance of dialogue as a supreme value that contradicts fanaticism, and encourages the idea of building bridges of communication, understanding and acceptance of the other. Dialogue is also based on objectivity, enlightened rationality, and a collective consciousness, and is characteristic of civilized societies.
