Training Course / Workshop: “Reviving Islamic Architectural Heritage in Egypt… Searching for Authenticity”

The BA Center for Islamic Civilization Studies organizes a training course / workshop entitled “Reviving Islamic Architectural Heritage in Egypt: Searching for Authenticity”, within a series of training courses and workshops on architectural and urban heritage delivered by a distinguished group of professors and experts.

The course aims for a re-reading of history in light of what future technology provides, in order to establish the forgotten and unidentified parts of heritage and historical buildings. It also strives to develop the participants' ability to read historical documents and utilize them to understand heritage and valuable historical buildings.

The course will take place from Sunday to Wednesday, 28 – 31 January 2024, from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, in the BA Main Building, Third Floor Floating Room.

The course is intended for students of architecture and archaeology.
