The workshop comes as part of the celebration of Alexandria's selection as the Mediterranean Cultural Capital for 2025, and aims to showcase the latest scientific applications in the use of climate and atmospheric data to support the transition to renewable energy and discuss mechanisms for protecting cultural heritage in the face of climate change and the environmental and economic challenges it poses to Mediterranean countries.
The workshop will host experts and specialists from prestigious regional and international institutions in the fields of climate forecasting, sustainable energy, and heritage management, as well as representatives from a number of international bodies concerned with climate and development issues, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchange of experiences among countries in the region.
