Scholarships for Master’s and PhD in Hellenistic Studies

The Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies, affiliated with the Academic Research Sector at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, is pleased to announce the opening of registration for the Master's and PhD programs in Hellenistic Studies offered by Alexandria University.

Programs offered:
This prestigious program is the result of a unique partnership between the Alexandria Center for Hellenistic Studies at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Marianna Vardinoyannis Foundation, and Alexandria University. The degrees awarded by the center are accredited by Alexandria University and the Supreme Council of Universities.
The programs include:
- Master’s in Hellenistic Studies.
- PhD in Hellenistic Studies.
The Alexandria Centre for Hellenistic Studies (ACHS), in cooperation with the Marianna Vardinoyannis Foundation, provides a grant of 75% of the tuition fees to applicants (terms apply).
The program is conducted entirely in English and focuses on exploring the golden age of Alexandria's history, from its foundation to the end of the Ptolemaic period.
Admission requirements:
Master’s Program: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Classics, Archaeology, or equivalent from an accredited university in Egypt.
PhD Program: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Hellenistic Studies or a related specialization recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities.
