The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program and the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) will host the first International Conference of the Middle East Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics on 3 and 4 May 2026, in collaboration with Alamein International University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
The conference features a select group of leading international scientists and researchers from England, Tunisia, the United States, and Egypt in the fields of pharmacology and drug research to discuss neuropharmacology and cognitive disorders, precision therapeutics in oncology, drug repurposing, artificial intelligence applications in biomarker detection, toxicology and environmental health, and innovative drug delivery systems. The conference presents a genuine opportunity to build research partnerships, share expertise, and leverage these connections to identify the most effective therapeutic approaches.
The conference includes poster sessions for young researchers and competitions for the most promising researchers, as part of the efforts exerted to support and develop emerging research talent in the region. It also aims to serve as a high-level annual scientific platform to promote scientific research and international cooperation in the fields of pharmacology, experimental therapeutics, and precision medicine. It therefore underscores the importance of scientific research and its support, and reinforces Egypt’s position as a regional hub for innovation and international scientific cooperation in the fields of medical and pharmaceutical sciences.
