The BA Children’s Library concluded the English edition of the “Bee City Builders” school competition, in collaboration with Fluffy Bear, represented at the event by Mr. Moustafa El-Beheiry.
The competition aims to transform theoretical concepts of sustainability into tangible reality, as students design and build a model of a smart, eco-friendly residential neighborhood using entirely recycled materials, thereby fostering a spirit of innovation and responsibility toward the planet.
Six primary schools from Alexandria participated in the event, with a maximum of 10 students from each school, for a total of 60 students.
This event is part of the BA’s active and pioneering role in serving various segments of society, as it pays special attention to children through the multiple and varied events and activities it offers.
