A Sufi Evening at Sinnari House

Posted on

The BA Sinnari House in Cairo organized an evening of folk music on Monday, 18 May, which witnessed a large public turnout.

The evening featured a remarkable Sufi performance by the renowned Tunisian singer Ghalia Benali, who presented a medley of folk songs with a vibrant contemporary spirit. She was accompanied by the chanters Mohamed El-Manfalouty and Ahmed El-Touny, who presented a diverse selection of Sufi poems and chants.

The event underscores the pivotal role played by the BA, through its Cultural Outreach Sector, in preserving and reviving intangible heritage.
