The BA Sinnari House in Cairo organized on Tuesday, 19 May, a seminar titled “Adversity and Pain in Sufism,” delivered by writer Dr. Reem Bassiouney.

The seminar explored Sufi scholars’ perspectives on the concepts of adversity and pain, and their methods of coping with human difficulties and challenges. It also highlighted the intellectual and linguistic dimensions of Sufi heritage and the insights it offers to help individuals understand themselves and face life’s challenges with greater awareness and serenity.

This seminar is part of the series “A Journey through Sufi Thought and the Secrets of Language,” organized by Sinnari House for the fifth consecutive year, with the aim of offering a humanistic interpretation of Sufi heritage, language, and intellectual symbols.
