The BA Organizes Diyarna Handicrafts Fair in Collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity

The BA Women Studies and Social Transformation Program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, is organizing Diyarna Fair for handmade and heritage crafts, which the Library will host from 15 to 19 June 2026, as part of joint efforts to support traditional crafts and empower small business owners, artisans, and creators across various governorates.

The fair is organized in line with the Library’s commitment to supporting development and cultural initiatives that aim to preserve Egyptian heritage and promote handicrafts. These initiatives contribute to the economic empowerment of women and provide an integrated marketing platform that allows artisans to showcase their products and connect with a wide audience of visitors interested in Egyptian heritage products.

Diyarna is one of the most prominent events supporting handicrafts and heritage in Egypt, as it helps open new horizons for marketing and promoting local products, and enhances opportunities for artisans to reach wider segments of the public both within Egypt and abroad.

The fair will be open to visitors from 15 to 19 June 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm.
