The Cultural Program of the 2026 BA International Book Fair

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, has announced that the cultural program taking place on the sidelines of the 21st edition of the Library’s International Book Fair 2026—which runs from 6 to 20 July— is rich and diverse, featuring 410 events, with the participation of more than 1,000 speakers from Egypt and various countries around the world. The program also includes 21 additional events and seminars at the Library’s Sinnari House in Cairo.
Renowned director Daoud Abdel Sayed holds a special place in this year’s edition as the fair’s featured personality, with the program comprising several events highlighting his artistic career.
