“Youth and Development in Egypt”… A BA Event to Mark International Youth Day

The BA Center for Strategic Studies, the Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program, and the Women Studies and Social Transformation Program are organizing an event titled “Youth and Development in Egypt: Integrated Partnerships and Hopes Fulfilled,” to mark International Youth Day 2026. The event is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, and the Youth Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture (Ministry of Culture).
This event stems from Egypt’s long-standing vision that places youth at the forefront of development priorities, recognizing them as a fundamental element in building the future and a decisive factor in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. It also reflects the Library’s belief in the importance of investing in the development of the Egyptian people and strengthening the role of youth as active partners in comprehensive development pathways.
The event will take place on Thursday, 13 August 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the Great Hall of the BA Conference Center.
