The BA Launches “Meaningful Places” Initiative

The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med), in collaboration with the Architecture Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture and a number of educational and cultural institutions, has launched the initiative “Meaningful Places: Youth's Vision of the City Using AI.”
The initiative aims to examine and document the architectural elements and places that hold social and emotional value for young people.
It involves field research conducted by young people, specialized planning analysis, and responsible visual storytelling methods supported by AI technologies.
It also seeks to share its outputs with the public and decision-makers, thus encouraging further conversations on the future of Alexandria.
